At Swim Pretty Shop, we want you to love your beachwear as much as we do! If something isn’t quite right, our mermaid-friendly returns policy makes it easy to make waves with your order.

Our Return Promise

We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of receiving your order. Items must be unworn, unwashed, with original tags attached, and in resalable condition – just like when they left our tropical warehouse.

What Can’t Be Returned?

For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Swimwear bottoms (Bikini Bottoms)
  • Swimwear tops (Bikini Tops)
  • Complete bikini sets (Bikinis)

(These items are final sale unless they arrive damaged or defective)

How to Return or Exchange

Follow these simple steps to initiate your return or exchange:

  1. Contact us within 15 days of receiving your order at [email protected] with your order number and return request
  2. Wait for approval – our customer mermaids will respond within 2 business days with return instructions
  3. Package your items securely in the original packaging if possible
  4. Ship your return to our Denver address (provided in your approval email)
  5. Wait for processing – we’ll notify you once we receive and inspect your return

Refund Information

Once your return is approved and processed:

  • Refund method: Your refund will be issued to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
  • Timing: Please allow 5-7 business days after we receive your return for the refund to appear in your account
  • Shipping costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable
  • Exchange shipping: You’ll be responsible for shipping costs to return the original item and for us to ship the new item

Return Shipping

You’re responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or incorrect. We recommend using a trackable shipping service as we can’t be responsible for lost return packages.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the issue. We’ll happily replace the item or issue a full refund, including shipping costs.
